Welcome to
Animal Clinic of Boardwalk Square

Welcome to Animal Clinic of Boardwalk Square, where
we know that the key to pet wellness is through gentle care,
preventative veterinary services, and holistic methods. Kansas City veterinarian, Dr. Billie Deam, and our staff are dedicated to treating pets with the most compassion and understanding possible.
We are a full-service veterinary hospital in the Kansas City area, offering wellness care, vaccinations, pet dentistry,
and spay and neuter procedures. We offer a range of dog and cat surgery
procedures for emergency, cosmetic, rehabilitative, and preventative
needs. Our main focus of care includes services that contribute to
overall dog and cat wellness.
Our Kansas City Veterinary Hospital Cares
Our Kansas City veterinarian, Dr. Billie Deam, began Animal Clinic of Boardwalk Square in 1990. Since that time, our veterinary hospital
has grown to include many different animal care services. Whether
providing a routine health examination or a life-saving emergency
procedure, the staff at our animal clinic knows that a kind touch
and a wealth of veterinary knowledge - both holistic and traditional -
go a long way. We have a veterinarian on staff five days a week to
handle emergency or urgent care cases for sick pets. Please call ahead
of coming into our clinic with an emergency or urgent case, so we can
prepare our staff accordingly.
At Animal Clinic of Boardwalk Square, we offer
medical services such as therapeutic laser treatments for arthritis, and
traditional veterinary services including on-site pet grooming and veterinary supervised pet boarding.
We also provide cosmetic surgery for pets, including ear crop
procedures and other types of laser surgeries. Laser therapy is cutting
edge technology for veterinary procedures and is used because it better
targets the affected area, reduces bleeding and inflammation, and
decreases healing time. Routine spay and neuter procedures, as well as
cosmetic surgeries, use laser technology that gets your pet back on
their feet and playing in less time than traditional surgical methods.
In addition to these medical and surgical services, we also provide holistic animal care including acupuncture services, herbal medicines for pain relief and pain management, and chiropractic care for pets. We encourage pet owners to contact us to find out more information on what we are able to use pet acupuncture
to treat and how it works. Our animal chiropractic services are
available in our office for cats and dogs, and we provide barn site
equine therapy. Just as chiropractic care is beneficial to humans, it is
also helpful in treating pets that have back pain and joint pain.
Please feel free to take a look around our website
for more information on all the services that we provide. It is our goal
that our clients feel comfortable on their first visit, thus we suggest
reviewing our New Patient Center
for further details. We also offer a complimentary website membership,
which gives pets owners important tips on helping their pets lead the
healthiest lives possible.
Animal Clinic of Boardwalk Square is a Kansas City North veterinary hospital that treats pets in the surrounding neighborhoods. To make an appointment with our veterinary hospital for pet boarding or for any other service we provide, please call us at 816-746-1333.
